Our practice was designed and built around our patients, and we strive to provide the best possible service and care. Our office uses the latest technologies and techniques to give you the best and most comfortable vision at work and at play. Dr. Ngo recommends annual eye exams to maintain optimal visual health. By looking inside your eye we can observe diseases before they affect your vision. Most eye diseases change slowly and are painless so you don't notice until you have lost some sight. We have on site visual field testing with the Carl Ziess Frequency Doubling (FDT) visual field perimeter. This advanced technology allows us to detect Glaucoma much earlier than other visual field analyzers.

We also have the ability to image the back of the eye where many systemic conditions affect the retina with our fully automated Centervue DRS retinal scanner. We also offer contact lenses for slowing down the progression of Myopia (Myopia Control). Studies show that we can reduce the advancement of nearsightedness up to 50% with these types of treatments. We also offer Scleral contacts for the treatment of corneal irregularities such as  Keratoconus. We also offer FREE Lasik evaluations as well!

Because we know how much your eye health and appearance can mean to the quality of your life, we are committed to excellence in servicing your complete eye care needs. We have a highly trained staff that guarantees that you will be treated with fairness, courtesy, and respect. If you're looking for quality care with a personal touch, we hope you'll give us a call. For your convenience our Optometry office is open evenings and weekends!

Routine eye exams are important — regardless of your age or your physical health. During a comprehensive eye exam, your eye doctor does much more than just determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses. He or she will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health. Also, eye doctors often are the first health care professionals to detect chronic systemic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Eye exams for children also are very important to insure normal vision development and confirm that children have the visual acuity and vision skills required for schoolwork and other activities. Children don’t always know what “normal” vision looks like, so they’re unlikely to complain of vision problems. However, because vision is so closely linked to the learning process, undetected learning-related vision problems can lead to trouble with schoolwork. If your child is performing poorly at school, be sure to have his or her eyes examined by an eye doctor who specializes in children’s vision to rule out an underlying visual cause

Incredible advances have emerged in biomaterial engineering and surface chemistry, allowing scientists to generate a new breed of contact lenses called silicone hydrogel. Not only do silicone hydrogel materials provide ocular health benefits, they also allow people to wear contact lenses longer, making continuous wear a healthier option. Traditional soft contact lenses are made from hydrogel polymers (soft, water-containing plastics). The plastic itself is not oxygen permeable, so the water performs the job of carrying oxygen through the lens to the eye. But water can carry only so much oxygen — and the more water a lens contains, the greater its tendency to dehydrate after long periods of wear.

Silicone hydrogel lenses use both their water and polymer content to transmit oxygen to the eye. They are healthier than conventional soft lenses because they allow up to 6 times more oxygen to pass through them and increased oxygen transmission results in better overall eye health. Advantages of silicone hydrogel lenses over conventional soft lenses include lower risk of eye infection. Our office carries many brands and types of the latest silicone hydrogel contact lenses!
